Accept His grace.
When my grandmother quilted, she never threw scraps away. Torn shirts, worn aprons, even a piece of cloth stained with life’s hard use—she kept them. One day, she’d place those scraps side by side, stitching them with a steady hand. And when she was finished, what once looked useless became part of a covering that could warm the whole body.
That’s what God does with us. Our broken pieces, our stained past, our torn edges—He gathers them up. He doesn’t discard them. Instead, He stitches them into a pattern we can’t yet see, until suddenly, the covering of grace makes sense.
