Reflection

I know the sting of being called “paranoid,” “too much,” or “ungrateful” because you dared to raise your voice about safety. Sometimes it’s not strangers — it’s people close to us who resent our awareness. But hear me: you do not need to plead with people who are determined not to listen. Even Jesus told His followers: when they don’t receive you, when they are offended by truth — shake the dust and go.

Your concern for your safety and your children’s safety is not weakness. It is wisdom. And if someone cannot honor that, your assignment is not to convince them. Your assignment is to keep walking.

Prayer/Affirmation
Lord, steady my steps when I am mocked for protecting myself and my children. I choose to shake the dust and move toward life.
